About Marie Crossley
Family Law Attorney and Partner at MacElree Harvey, Ltd.
My focus in every case is my client and how to achieve their goals.
While I have extensive trial and litigation experience, I am also trained in Mediation/Alternative Dispute Resolution. Particularly in the area of Family Law, the ability to effectively negotiate is just as important as trial advocacy and my mediation background allows me to tailor my approach to my client’s individual needs.
After graduating from Washington & Jefferson College in 1998, I attended Villanova University School of Law. After graduating from Villanova, I clerked for the Honorable William L. Chapman and the Honorable Alison Whitmer Tumas, State of Delaware Family Court. Immediately after her clerkship, she entered private practice. She joined MacElree Harvey in 2013 and became a Shareholder of the firm in 2018. She currently is a Partner at MacElree Harvey, Ltd. and works out of the firm’s Centreville, Delaware office.

Practice Areas
ALIMONY
Just as money can become a source of stress during a marriage, it also is a main point of contention during a divorce or separation.
CHILD CUSTODY & SUPPORT
We work collaboratively with the other side to achieve a fair and peaceful resolution.
DIVORCE & SEPARATION
Divorce is a life-changing experience and an emotional roller coaster. We’re here to make things easier.
PROTECTION FROM ABUSE
We can help you map out a plan of action and begin acting on that plan right away. No one should ever have to live with abuse.
MEDIATION
Mediation has many benefits, including lower costs, less emotional conflict, a much shorter wait for resolution and the ability to have control over the outcome.
